Radio Interview and Norwescon

This week is a crazy one. Tomorrow night (Wednesday April 16) Liz and I will be guests on the Star Chamber Radio Show with shockingly amazing hosts, Michael West and Stephen Zimmer. It starts at 9PM Eastern (so that 6PM Pacific time), Tune in at the link below and listen for free online. We'll be talking about books, Harsh Reality's new steampuk role playing game, and Norwescon! Click this link to get to the show.

Speaking of Norwescon, Liz and I will be there signing books! I believe our table is just outside the dealer's room so if you're in or around the Seattle/Bellevue area, stop by, say hi and enjoy a great con. We should have both Thomas Riley's, Her Majesty's Mysterious Conveyance, Dreams of Steam 1 and 2 as well as other fun goodies for sale. Click here for more info on Norwescon

Progress: I've been working hard on the Steampunk Role Playing game story book for Harsh Realities. I'm really excited about this project and there are literally hundreds of characters, places and situations that are going into the story book that I had to make a map! So I'm hand drawing a large map of the capital city really just for my reference (it helps me keep things in order). I'll post a terrible pic of the progress so far for your nerdy enjoyment.

We will also be heading to Dallas in May for the Dallas Comic Con. We're extra excited about this as almost the entire cast of Firefly will be there as well!

October Blog Stats

Due to the blackout, you're just now getting my most unpopular blog post again. To reiterate, I do this to satisfy my own love for statistics and for those that are interested in how their blogs do vs. others. Not only does it help me figure out who and what does well view-wise, but it helps me plan blogs in the future.

So, the big winner is DJ Ichabod's "Out ov The Coffin" Gothic radio show, which I've been a fan of for yeeeeaaarrrsss. The close second was the post on Michael West's horror novel, Spook House. The big loser is... well, the September blog stats as I'm sure this post will probably be the least viewed this month as well. hahaha.

Here's the chart. See you with a new post tomorrow.

Spook House by Michael West

Horror writer extraordinaire Michael West's new book, Spook House, is out today!! Published by Seventh Star Press, Mr. West's new book looks to be an amazing ride of thrills and scares and is a must have for anyone remotely interested in the horror genre.

Here's the blurb:
The latest Harmony, Indiana novel following 2011’s Cinema of Shadows arrives just in time for Halloween, exploring the places in this world that go far beyond any normal definition of “haunted.” These places are so evil, so diabolical, that they become gateways to Hell itself. The Fuller Farm is one such place.

It is said that old man Fuller conducted unspeakable acts, blood rituals and human sacrifices, all in an attempt to gain the ultimate knowledge, the ultimate power. And then, he was killed–horribly murdered on his own lands, leaving the house to stand as a vacant monument to his wickedness. But once a door is opened, it can never really be closed.

Now, the stars are right. The gateway is ready to once more unleash unspeakable horror upon the town of Harmony, Indiana. And this will be one Halloween that they will never forget!

Michael West  has been on the scene for quite some time, building an amazing reputation as a top notch horror writer. You can probably catch him at all the best horror and fantasy conventions so if you get the chance to meet him, don't pass it up! He's a very cool guy!

He's also doing a 33 date blog tour (Sounds like me) so be sure to check out his posts all over the Internet. Also, if you're in the area, the book release launch party will be at "That Book Place" in Madison Indiana on October 27th.
